CONTROLLING THE FUNGUS AMONG US
Necessary Additions to the Candida Clear package:
A second package of Candida Clear so that you can stay on the products a full 28 days.
Probiotic Eleven or Bifidophilus to rebuild the protective barrier of good bacteria in the bowel- 8-12 a day
Silver Sol – as much as you can afford. Ideally, take one bottle each of the first two days, one-half bottle on days three and four, and one-quarter of a bottle each day thereafter. The more you take, the faster the candida dies and the fewer “die-off symptoms” you will experience.
Helpful Hints:
Use your cell phone alarm or kitchen timer to remind you to take your between-meal packets
Consider taking a fiber supplement daily such as Psyllium Hulls Combination or LoClo so that you don’t get constipated.
You may use the natural nut butters (with oil floating on the top). Add 1 teaspoon of Silver Sol to kill any fungus, stir thoroughly and refrigerate to prevent further oil separation.
Nature’s Sweet Life candy bars, gum, and mints are all safe to use as is Xylitol natural sweetener (bulk-from NSP), which actually kills candida. Peanut butter on Nature’s Sweet Life candy bar squares tastes fabulous.
Have a wonderful mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack of natural lemonade made with the juice of ½ lemon and Xylitol to taste (I use one tablespoonful). Enjoy hot or cold. This benefits the kidneys as well. Or, if you prefer, have an RG-Max drink made with sparkling water and benefit your circulatory system and muscles.
Spray your toothbrush with Silver Sol each time you use it. Or you may soak it in Silver Sol or brush your teeth with Silver Sol Gel (it doesn’t have any taste). This is to avoid ingesting candida from your tooth brush.
You may have a small dish of natural yogurt daily—I prefer Mountain High or a health store brand. Do not buy any flavor other than natural or it may have sugar in it. You may add frozen berries and xylitol to sweeten it if it is too sour for you. This will provide more beneficial bacteria. No other dairy, except butter, should be used.
Nature’s Sunshine NutriBurn shakes, either chocolate or vanilla, are allowed on the diet. They contain a lot of protein and enough fiber to balance the carbohydrates in them. You may want to add peanut butter or raspberries to the chocolate or any frozen fruits (see diet for amount) to the vanilla to give you variety.
When eating out, request your salad with no dressing. Ask them to bring you oil and ½ of a lemon. Put the oil, lemon juice, and NSP’s Sea Salt on your salad and enjoy.
When you leave home take a snack with you, consider taking the Xylitol lemonade, nuts (not dry-roasted), and a small amount of yogurt with frozen fruit in it. Delicious and satisfying.
You really won’t feel deprived once you get the hang of this food plan and your health will improve so dramatically that you will be pleased you followed through. Be proud of yourself!!
Candida Control Diet
Foods You Cannot Eat (Not Even Once!)
(If you break the rules, the 14-21 days start over for the diet & the supplements)
Antibiotics: Call your Nature=s Sunshine herb specialist for natural herbal remedies if you begin to get sick. Antibiotics will cause a massive growth of candida!
Coffee & Tea: Regular coffee, instant coffee, decaf coffee.
Condiments, Sauces, Fermented Foods, & Vinegar-containing Foods: Mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, salad dressing, Worcestershire, Accent (MSG), Soy sauce, barbecue sauce, chili sauce, pickles, relishes, green olives, sauerkraut, horseradish, tamari.
Cheese & Dairy: All cheeses except sheep cheese, which is allowed, milk products and foods containing cheese and milk. Sour cream and sour milk products must be avoided. Once a day you may have 4 oz. plain yogurt with live culture and no sugar (except Xylitol) added. You may add one serving (see page 1) of fruit to the yogurt. See page 1 for schedule of adding cheese back into the diet.
Flour, Rice, Corn, Oats, and Products Made from These: Bread, Rice Cakes, Oatmeal, Tortillas, Pastries, Bagels, Cake, Pies and Popcorn all turn to sugar in your system and feed your candida.
Malt Products: Malted milk drinks, cereals, and candy.
Moldy Foods: Any food that may have mold on it such as left-overs or sprouts
Packaged & Processed Foods: Canned, bottled, boxes, and other packaged foods usually contain yeast, vinegar, or refined sugar.

Sprouts: Often contain molds
Sugar & Sugar-containing Foods: Avoid high fructose corn syrup, fructose, sucrose, maltose, lactose, honey, molasses, maple syrup, maple sugar, date sugar, and turbinado sugar. Xylitol and stevia are allowed
Yeasts: Brewer=s Yeast (check your vitaminsBNature=s Sunshine vitamins are all yeast-free), bakers= yeast
How to plan a meal while on the Candida Diet:
1) Choose a protein (meat, chicken, fish, tuna, eggs)
2) Add as many allowed vegetables as you wish with butter & salt for flavoring. To make salad dressing,
combine olive or canola oil with fresh lemon juice and desired spices.
3) Add one serving of fruit
4) Add nuts, avocados, and other sources of fat, as desired
To break the diet, (no sooner than on the 15th day—the longer you stay on, the better) add one Aoff-limits@ food only. Start by gradually adding the disallowed vegetables such as corn, winter squash, and a small amount of potatoes. Next add additional fresh, unsweetened fruits. Then add dairy products. Add only one new item every three days. Three days later add another. By adding slowly, you can determine which foods you must still stay away from (if your symptoms or gas after eating return). Sugar, vinegar, and yeast products should be the last items you add.
